Backlink Checker
Discover referring pages and anchor text from open indexes.
Files and text are processed locally in your browser. Tools that must reach the network say so explicitly.
About the Backlink Checker
Verify backlinks. There is no free web-wide link index, so the Toolcenter Backlink Checker takes a list of pages you believe link to you, fetches each one server-side, and reports every link that points to your domain — with its anchor text and rel attribute (dofollow/nofollow). Ideal for confirming outreach and directory links.
How to use it
- 1Enter your domain.
- 2Paste up to 40 candidate pages that might link to you.
- 3Run the check.
- 4Review which pages link to you, and how.
Key features
- Confirms real backlinks on pages you supply
- Extracts anchor text and rel attribute
- Dofollow vs nofollow count
- Up to 40 pages per run
- Server-side fetch, private results
Frequently asked questions
Why can’t it just find all my backlinks?+
A web-wide backlink index (like Ahrefs or Majestic) requires crawling the entire web and a paid database. This tool verifies links on pages you already know about.
What is dofollow versus nofollow?+
A nofollow link has rel="nofollow" (or ugc/sponsored) and passes little or no ranking signal. Dofollow links have no such attribute.
How many pages can I check?+
Up to 40 per run.
Are the results private?+
Yes. Pages are fetched server-side and the report is returned only to you.
