Frequently asked questions
What does compounding frequency change?+
More frequent compounding earns interest on interest sooner, so daily compounding yields slightly more than annual at the same rate.
Are contributions added before or after interest?+
Each period the balance grows by the periodic rate, then the contribution for that period is added.
Does it account for tax or inflation?+
No. It shows nominal growth. Subtract your expected tax and inflation separately for a real-terms view.
Is my data saved?+
Only in your browser to remember the form. Nothing is transmitted.
