Measure how much of your text overlaps with reference sources you paste in. Because the tool has no web access, it compares against material you supply — classmates’ drafts, prior versions, specific articles — using n-gram shingling, and flags sentences that match too closely. Everything runs in your browser.
How to use it

Does it search the internet for matches?+
No. It has no web access. It only compares your text against the sources you paste in, which keeps it completely private.
What is a good overlap score?+
Lower is better. High overlap with a source usually means passages need rewriting or proper quotation and citation.
How do I add multiple sources?+
Separate each source with a line containing three dashes (---).
Is my document uploaded?+
No. All comparison happens in your browser.
