Calculate a tip and split the bill. The Toolcenter Tip Calculator supports tipping on the pre-tax or full amount, splitting between any number of people, quick tip presets, and rounding either the total or the per-person share. It shows tip, total, per-person and tip-per-person figures.

Should I tip on the pre-tax amount?+
Many people tip on the pre-tax subtotal. The tool supports both — set the tax-included amount and choose “Tip pre-tax”.
How does rounding work?+
“Round total” rounds the grand total up; “Round per person” rounds each share up so the collected amount covers the bill.
Can it handle an uneven split?+
It splits equally. For uneven shares, calculate each person’s items separately.
